Amsterdam shopping spots. No.1
Utrechtsestraat, just 5 min away from Rembrant Platz, full of quirky boutiques that stock such names as Diane von Furstenbergh and more famous high street brands as American Apparel. Not only you can shop till you drop but also have a coffee or glass of wine or buy that famous Dutch cheese.

It is common for people to ask about places to stay in Spain that are peaceful and quiet. But what about somewhere for those who like noise? … They are spoiled for choice. Formula 1 motor cars race around the city in June. Petrol heads love that one. And soon, in March, all closet pyromaniacs head to Valencia for the annual celebration of fire that is Fallas.

2012 will be the year of so many celebrations in the UK and the one I’m enjoying already is the 200th birthday of Charles Dickens. Barcelona, Spain

Barcelona was more beautiful than I ever imagined. From the tree lined streets, to the Mediterranean, to Park Guell, it was all just spectacular. The thing I liked most about Barcelona was the seamless blending of old and new. Also, the public transportation system was very cohesive and you could practically get anywhere in the city by a couple of bus or metro changes.

Not only because of its name, this small and magical market in Berlin Prenslauerberg is atypical. The general atmosphere characterized by the old stone buildings inside the cultural brewery, a land marked monument, is magical.
The country goes into overdrive throughout December, incorporating Christmas markets, decorations, and events throughout the month, including the Santa Claus Race in Rotterdam, the Pink Christmas gay festival in Amsterdam, and the lighting of Christmas lights in city squares.
