Vienna waits for you.

Cafe Drechsler/Naschmarkt Vienna.
Vienna was my favorite city by far. First off, there were tons of adorable coffee shops with delicious drinks, chocolate and pastries that were and still appear to be frequented by Vienna’s intellectuals. The cafes contained wifi, newspaper racks of the daily papers, and big comfy chairs all in a new-baroque, domed belle of a building. I was in love
Secondly, the city contains the Imperial Palace, seat of the former Hapsburg empire (Marie Antoinette’s fam). This means that the city has a tradition of being the seat of international culture. Vienna is the perfect mix of westernized (read: familiar, English speaking) and uniquely foreign and, thus, interesting.
Of all the cities, Vienna is one that I could see myself coming back to. There was this intangible aspect that just made me feel at home there.
