One thing Rome has a plethora of (besides cathedrals) is fountains. There were big fountains, small fountains, drinking fountains, wishing fountains, holy fountains— fountains with people, fountains with animals, fountains with gods, and on and on. These are a few of the fountains we saw including the highlight in the large photo: the Trevi Fountain, featuring Poseidon (Neptune) and some fellow mythological beings, including mer-horses of some sort.
