The magic Grotta Azzurra in Palinuro, a wonderful blue cave in the Cilento coast, Italy.
In this cave sunlight creates on the water wonderful blue shades thanks to a siphon (20 m deep) that makes sunlight pass.
It is attainable only by sea (as you can see, the black spot in the bottom is the boat shadow)
This morning I was at the supermarket and I stopped in front of a travel agency to have a look… And I found this one day trip to Venice for the Carnival on the 3rd of February! I called my best friend and she said YES, I still can’t believe it! Now we just need to book and I’ll finally see that amazing Carnival, I’m so excited.
